Montenegro’s First International Rugby League Game

International

Montenegro's national rugby league team (MRLF) will play it's first international game under patronage of International Rugby League (IRL) versus the national rugby league team of Malta. The name of the match is "Medieval Shield" and will be held on Charles Abela Memorial Stadium in Malta, with kick-off starting at 7pm local time.

Montenegro will go to Malta with 19 players, and sadly won't be seen in it's best edition, as few key players won't be able to participate due injuries earned while competing in Balkan Super Rugby League. Team has been preparing for the last couple of months, and huge improvement can be noticed, as well as boost in morale in the players.

Also wants to thank Malta Rugby League for giving  opportunity to try out versus them and see what areas will be lacking for future improvements and future international games.
